If however all you are doing is calling up patches that you create them you can do it without RPS but I think you are missing a lot in the functionality of B4Real. I suggested to jcthemc to change it to the mixer view so we could see the drawbar settings and manipulate them and he did that for us. In B4Real version 5 you had to be in part view (I think it was part view) so you couldnt use the realtime controllers to change the drawbar settings. The first time you run the application, youll be prompted to select which folders to scan for music, and for what type of music files to scan for. I use it to add, chorus at the hit of a button, speed up and slow down the Leslie effect, change drawbar settings, change the splits and add other synth layer as needed.Īlso, you can use the realtime controllers to manipulate the drawbars although you only have access to 4 at a time. You basically can use it to create a pattern that changes many aspects of the sound. For now I have added your suggestions to the Rotary effect as it does liven it up a little. I will try it out and let you know how it works for me.

Julio, thank you for all those suggestions. You have to try all these tips together or combining some of them. In "TVF" I have experimented the filter type PKG and I can use the Cutoff and Reso knobs to simulate drawbars, because the resulted resonant frenquency of filter acts as a new harmonic element.ĥ-On EFX VK Rotary, eddited the followings sets: This adds a little of harmonic and life to the sine wave also simulating the leakage.Ĥ-Using the above slightly distorted sine waves, you may apply a filter to each drawbar patch. I have tryed the following set: FXM switch ON / Color 1 / Deph 1.
UNEVEN VOLUME LEVEL TRAKAXPC PATCH
It contains some harmonic distortion, due to imperfection of wheels and leakage between wheels.Ģ-Go to patch edit "General" and set the "Analog Feel" to value 17.ģ-In patch edit "Wave", you may try to apply the FXM to each sine wave. I have some ideas for you:ġ-Change the waveform of each drawbar patch to 0578 ARP Sine HD (instead of pure sine), because the original electromecanical hammnond did not generate a perfect sine. I am a follower of Hammond B3 and I also have the B4Real installed in my FX6 and worked with it. It is nice to know you continue your research to improve the already good B4Real.
